            All services done by Rob's PC Fixer Upper are now done at a reasonable hourly rate of $30.00 per hour + the cost of supplies, with a minimum cost of $30 for the pickup or visit.  No further charges are incurred if issues are not resolved no matter how long the system is serviced for.  No charges are incurred for system scans, such as defragmenting or virus scanning.  Most examples of these services are included below.

0. Backup Service  Backing up all personal and most system files due to a catastrophic system failure due to a spyware or virus infection.

0. Cleaning Service  Cleaning dust from tower and unnecessary files from computer.

0. Software Updates  Updates of antivirus definitions, office suite hotfixes, firewall updates, etc. 

0. Software and Hardware Upgrades  Examples include: Updating to a new version of software (Ex. Office 2007 to Office 2010), adding more memory, getting an enhanced video card, or installing a printer. 

0. Home Networking  Get 2 or more computers sharing the same internet connection, files, printers, scanners, and/or copiers.  This is great for customers who want most of their files on a new computer but still want to keep their older system for a child or whoever. 

0. Software repair  Repairs most software errors.  Usually a reinstall of the program can solve this.  In some case it is simply a virus or spyware removal that ultimately fixes the office program, AOL, or Windows itself.

0. Speedy Computer  Defragging (organizing files properly so hard drive runs faster), running spyware removal and antivirus programs, killing junk startup programs, uninstalling rarely used programs, updating Windows and/or the firewall on the system.

0. Tutoring and Advice service  Learn to use most newly bought hardware or software at a laymen’s level.  If you’re in the process of buying a new PC or program, I'll give you several customized options.

0. Full System setup  You just bought a new system, upgraded your old computer, or need Windows reinstalled on your current system. This includes all personal files and software updates put onto the hard drives.   The cost of a new Windows CD, if needed, is extra and must be paid for in advance.
